The DC12 MITY T400 GO-BOX made in the USA, specifically for the Compact Power Source series that comes complete ready for a 12 Volt, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) with a 12, 15 and 20 Amp Hour battery of your choice. This unit comes with a built in 150 watt MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar charge controller. It will handle up to 150 watt panels from 16 to 20 volts input. Just plug the panel into the yellow/black Anderson Powerpole connector, aim your panel at the sun and let the charging begin. Select the battery size you want at the top of this page in the BATTERY SIZE select box.
Control Panel (left to right), Powerpole connectors for 30 amp maximum output, red/black in bottom position, solar panel input, yellow/black in top position ; Automotive Power Port (Cigarette Lighter); Combination USB QC3.0 and USB Type-C that supports Power Delivery (PD) with DVM to indicate battery voltage level with built in switch to turn off the USB/DVM (Digital Volt Meter) that draw a small amount of current with their regulators and LED lights. This is to prevent power drain when the unit is put into storage. The battery, with everything turned off, should not self discharge more than about 10% in 6 months to a year.
These units are built in a rugged hard shell water resistant case and the connectors and ports have rubberized splash covers to prevent water from entering the case.
When batteries are purchased with this unit, they range from 12Ah to 20Ah and come with the appropriate chargers for the batteries. They come with a 2 or 4 amp charger designed specifically for LiFePO4 batteries. Do not use a standard led acid battery charger for this battery.
They are light weight at 2.1 pounds plus battery and charger, easy to carry. It makes an ideal portable power source for radios, AC inverters for lap top or other electronic equipment. A good source for powering ham radios in the field? running Kayak fish finders, electronics and charging your phone with the USB power port.
These are built with LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) and are manufactured by Bioenno Power. They have enhanced charge cycles, over 3500+ charge cycles, and 5 to 10 or more years of service life. They are more stable than the LiCoO2 and Li-Ion Polymer batteries. They have built in circuit protection which prevents over current, over discharge, under voltage, over voltage or thermal runaway.
The batteries are warranted for 5 years on a pro-rated basis. i.e. 1-6 mo. 100%, 6-12 mo. 75%, 13-18 mo. 50%, 19-60 mo. 25%.
Due to air shipment restrictions of all Lithium Batteries, we can only ship by ground to the Continental US, and special arraignments to Alaska and Hawaii.
