DC12 MITY-QC3 T400 Solar GO-BOX has a Powerpole output port and yellow Powerpole solar panel input port, an automotive type 12 volt power port and a USB-QC3.0 Charger Port and DVM. This configuration can be ordered alone for your battery or with one of 3 sizes of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, 12, 15, and 20 Ah. The Red Powerpole connector is for power distribution to radios or other equipment requiring 12 VDC*. The connectors canbe used as an input or output and can be used simultaneously. The Digital Volt Meter (DVM) to monitor the battery condition.
The USB-QC3.0 fast high current charging port keeps your phone or other USB devices charged. If your phone is the type that can communicate with the QC3.0 protocol, it will charge much faster than the standard USB port. If your phone is not so equipped, it will charge as with a standard USB charger.
The 150 Watt MPPT Solar Charge Controller is connected to the yellow Powerpole. This allows you to plug in your solar panel directly in without having to use an external solar charge controller. MPPT is Maximum Power Point Tracking and is a very efficient way to extract all the power from the solar panels. The Powerpole connector top position is yellow/black for panel input and the lower one is red/black for 12 VDC out.
The case is ruggedly constructed and is considered water resistant.
Do not use automotive type chargers or maintainers for this type battery. They will not charge the batteries properly.
The Bioenno AC to DC Power charger installed is a 14.6VDC, matched to the LiFePO4 batterie installed. The Bioenno batteries come with a PCM (Protection Circuit Module) ready for this type of charger.

The Bioenno Power Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery Model BLF-Series is a state of the art 12V battery. The BLF-Series is designed for more stationary applications and higher power consumption portable electronics requiring a higher capacity and greater power output battery while demanding a battery which can reliably provide excellent performance over an extended service life. The battery has an integrated PCM (protection circuit module) which provides complete internal cell balancing, complete integrated protection along with integrated charge circuitry and boasts no EMI/RFI (Electromagnetic Interference/Radio-Frequency Interference) and is absolutely quiet!

Great little box
I roll my own, sometimes buy other cases, but this one is by far the most efficient for space and plugs that I've ever used. Having the solar controller inside is a big plus, too.

Very Happy with my MITY-T400 GO-BOX
This works as advertised and as expected. It is exactly what I was looking for. Small, lightweight, tough, weather-resistant. I purchased with a 20A battery and solar panel and it all works great. Fast service, good packaging.

MITY400 perfect size/weight for up to 20AH battery
Was "pleasantly" surprised at smaller size/weight of the total box after I put my bioenno 1215 lifepo4 inside. Perfect match to my 705 with backpack (it can fit inside bottom if wanted)
